Aha! Creative Partners with Matagorda County, TX EDC for Website Design and Branding Strategy

Everyone at Aha! Creative is excited to congratulate Matagorda County, TX Economic Development Corporation on the launch of their new website! This comprehensive project included refreshing their brand and designing their primary website along with the design of four other City and Port websites under the Matagorda County EDC umbrella. The design emphasis focused on balancing the area’s excellent business and industry opportunity with its rich cultural and historical heritage while ensuring the website remained clean and easy to navigate.

Beginning with the primary Matagorda County EDC website, the goal of this project was to modernize the brand’s overall look and craft a streamlined website that delivers the data and content that appeal to site selectors and relocation opportunities.

With the integration of Aha! Creative Core4 tools, Building and Sites and the Demographic Dashboard, Matagorda County is able to quickly and efficiently showcase the buildings and sites available throughout the area while providing automatically updating area demographic data, all at the click of a mouse.

The natural beauty of Matagorda County blends nicely with the economic development information that decision-makers need to see. The site is dynamic and clean but makes a clear statement that the future of the area is ripe with opportunity. By showcasing the many assets, benefits, and quality of life throughout the county, the experience of visiting the Matagorda County EDC website is enjoyable and informative. Click here to visit the website.

At Aha! Creative, we believe your digital tools should work as hard as you do for your community.

That’s why we create data-rich modules and websites designed to make your visitor take notice — without complicating your day.

From our Core4 modules and comprehensive websites to our research and analysis, videography and collateral design, Aha! Creative works as your on-call marketing department when you need us.

Aha! Creative Begins Work on Phase Three of the Branding and Awareness Campaign for the Alabama Partnership for Children

The Alabama Partnership for Children (APC) has renewed its partnership with Aha! Creative to begin Phase Three of the “Feed Me Words” campaign. In 2019 Aha! Creative and APC began Phase One by creating the “Feed Me Words” campaign, a statewide initiative to help get Alabama families connected with vital resources aimed at increasing the language nutrition of young children from birth to three years of age. The initial launch of the program included a branding strategy and comprehensive social media marketing plan to increase awareness of the Feed Me Words initiative in Alabama.

During Phase One of the campaign, they established strategic positioning through the execution of the brand look and messaging and launched a streamlined and easy-to-use website targeting extended families with young children.

Phase Two of the campaign included a statewide social media marketing strategy employing multiple audience groups, messaging, and imagery to boost awareness of the resources offered by the Feed Me Words initiative. As a result of the social media campaign there were:

  • Over 2 million people reached (unique visitors)
  • Over 51 million social media ad impressions
  • 14,079 website visitors
  • 14,512 website sessions over 7 months, 83% via social media
  • 37 million video plays on Facebook and YouTube combined
  • 36,162 link click-throughs via Social Media

Phase Three of the campaign, currently in process, includes a brand refresh for Feed Me Words, which will consist of a new logo and website, along with the creation and production of a brand video, which will be used in broadcast and digital channel streams throughout the state. First Metro Bank’s Annual Report

First Metro Bank’s annual report is a great example of what Aha! does best in graphic design. Taking data, and a year’s worth of amazing memories via images and making it a digestible table for stakeholders to understand, but still plenty of dynamic design that reminds customers what their bank does for them each day.

Greenhill Monument & Countertops

Greenhill Monument & Countertops approached Aha! about branding for their company. With no existing logo, they needed a look that could reflect the nature of their business. Formerly Florence Marble Works, the company wanted an identity that could be their own. Once complete, they turned to aha! to create a website that features their beautiful work.

Smith & Smith Endodontics

The rebranding of Smith & Smith endodontics involved not only a logo, but a new website, notecards, business cards and referral pads. The new look is uniform across all of their platforms.

Capps Center

We are proud to have been chosen to create and manage a marketing campaign for The Capps Center – a workforce training center located in Indianola, MS – serving a seven county area of the Mississippi Delta. Our first step in this project has been to create a bold, unique logo/brandmark, something as strong as the Capps Center itself. This project will involve strategy, re-branding, web, social media and print. We love our time in the Delta and are honored to be part of this important economic outreach.

DeltaStrong

We are very proud of this project. Creative Director Ray Methvin first envisioned this entity, then created the concept, brand, and strategy for the multi-year project, including managing the marketing campaign for DeltaStrong – a collection of 13 counties of the Mississippi Delta. During our many trips and extended visits to the differenet communities of the Delta, we produced the website, photography, videography, and print/promotional collateral for this robust project. We especially enjoyed our video production with the one and only Archie Manning, who is DeltaStrong personified. This economic development project is slated to bring more investment into the Delta in an already thriving market.

Lawrence County Rebranding

Our long-time client, the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, asked us to design a new brand identity for them. The resulting design is one that uniquely identifies the area, while visually identifying it as an important part of the state of Tennessee. While at work on the Brand project, we also designed and published a 92 page Tourism and Marketing magazine for the area. We are now working to complete the new chamber website, expected to launch in February 2017.

“We feel fortunate to have Aha! A Creative Agency as an outstanding member of the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce. Their professionalism, quality of work and attention to detail is extremely impressive. Lewisburg, TN Web Development

We are very proud of this comprehensive website that combines the needs of a municipal website with the demands and functionality of an economic development site. The result is a fully responsive website that includes quick access to the information necessary for the citizens of the city, along with targeted interactive access to the technical economic development data site selectors require.

“As Economic Development Director for the City of Lewisburg, having a great website is one of the most important tools for growing and attracting new business, industry, commerce, visitors and residents. We looked at several website designers and we chose Aha-Creative and The Next Move Group because they had the best ideas and design, provided the best customer service and offered a little something extra.

The staff at Aha! Creative walked us through every step without overwhelming my staff and me with technical jargon. They provided the patience we needed to succeed and take control of our beautiful, functional, new and improved website. This website offers the local economic developer something extra – the knowledge of what companies and site selectors require from a website when searching for new locations. They provided the data and the expertise to help shape the website into one that I am prepared to submit at the Southeast Economic Development Council Annual Conference for a potential award of excellence and recognition this summer. Stay tuned.

If your city, county or EDO is ready to improve your first impression to the world, give Aha-Creative a call today.”

Greg Lowe, Economic Development Director for the City of Lewisburg

We are looking forward to working on the next issue!

“We love working with Ray and the Aha! Creative team because first they work to understand us and what we are trying to achieve. Then, they help us get where we want to go. Over the past year and a half, our Aha! experience has been a truly collaborative effort that continues to be seamless, easy, fun and rewarding.”

Ethan Hadley, President & CEO Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce

Sycamore Physician Contracting

Aha! Creative was challenged with a business model that offers a 21st century approach to part-time and full-time physician staffing. This open market model required the development of an online interface matching physicians and facilities directly, instead of the outdated middleman method. Our work included initial branding, print and trade-show collateral, in addition to the website featuring the online open market concept and functionality.
